Nightingale Rose, a tall shrub with an upright growth habit and few thorns. It bears blue-purple flowers with petals described as smoky lilac in hue, which are ruffled and form classic high-centered cup shapes with slightly curled edges. During periods of high temperatures, the flowers take on a pinkish tint. Moderately fragrant, they have a relatively good vase life of up to 12 days.
